My friends, we have been mis-labeled!
Despite what Shakespeare said, humans don't "be" very well.
"To be or not to be?" isn't the question.
We are not "Human Be-ings."
Let me explain. Look at the problems facing us and the world, war, poverty, terrorism, financial crisis, the list goes on...
There are no shortage of organizations that are attempting to solve these mammoth issues. Many, if not most are doing a noble job and have made a significant impact. So, if you want to make a real difference, where do you start?
My Rabbi, Rabbi Weinberg tz'l once asked, "What is the most dangerous disease in the world?"
"Ignorance," he replied.
And what is the greatest ignorance?
Not understanding ourselves.
The Talmud calls man a seeker. Monkeys, lions and fish don't seek. Give a monkey a tree and a banana and they are happy as punch. Monkeys want to be. Monkey's are Monkey Beings, but Humans are Human Seekers.
Look around and you will see, no matter what a human has, they seek more. Every single one of them on this planet, from Osama bin-Laden to the Queen of England is looking for something more. Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, they all want more out of life.
Its ignorance that makes people think its somewhere where it isn't. It's ignorance that makes fanatics think that killing innocent people will bring peace. It's ignorance that makes people think that poverty and abuse are acceptable.
These are man made problems, or to be specific, 'man-seeking' problems. Animals don't do to each other what we are capable of. Because animals are happy just being.
We can't change our nature, but we can educate it. The problem you have with yourself, and the people around you, is simply a matter of education, we all want the same love, happiness, peace and joy, we just don't understand how to attain it.
The people around you, don't want to be bad, rather, they are seeking good, they just don't understand. Through educational sites like this, and other's like it, we are making the world a better place.
Help us enlighten the world and spread the wisdom.

Shulem Rosenbaum of The Yeshiva World- how dare YOU
EDITORIAL: What Will It Take To Learn?
August 24, 2009 I don’t know how to start. To say that I’m outraged would be an understatement. To say I’m disappointed? Ashamed? Still insufficient. Perhaps it’s a word that has yet to exist; I’m simply pained.
We all know that the Churban Habayis was caused by Sinas Chinam. We also know that Chillul Hashem isn’t forgiven only by death. But do we really know, or do we pretend to know?
The Chillul Hashem has been going on for 10 years now. The mainstream media has reminded us about this time after time, but we didn’t learn. Nothing seemed to be going too far. If it involved anything from desecrating the Torah, Bizayon Talmidei Chachamim, Mesiros to Chillul Shabbos, Nothing held them back. Perhaps they justify themselves by claiming that it is L’shem Shamayim. But what happened this week made me take out the pen I’ve never used before and write. I am writing because I am hurt.
I won’t talk about the pain those nine young Yesomim whose father was taken from this world so suddenly, and was then denied burial are suffering, or the trauma they will live with for the rest of their lives. I believe that is self-understood. Actually, I hope so. I will talk about a different aspect.
We all know that the Torah prohibits leaving a Meis out in the field longer than necessary. Some Poskim and Kehillos support this opinion even when it pertains to Kovod HaMeis. Baruch Hashem, Klal Yisroel, a nation known for its Chessed, has many Askanim and organizations who work with authorities tirelessly around the clock to ensure that proper Kovod HaMeis is met. They sometimes work with people who have never seen an orthodox Jew before, but after ample explanation have come to understand the concept. I will bring an example.
This year, Governor Paterson planned a huge cut for the NYC Medical Examiners office’s budget. They responded by threatening to close some of their offices, which would result, according to them, in delaying burial for the Jewish people who make this a major priority. Organizations including the OU, Misaskim, the Chevra Kadisha of the Vaad HaRabbonim of Queens, and the JCRC of New York stepped up their efforts to lobby that it shouldn’t be enacted. They explained to officials such as Governor Paterson and then Majority leader Malcolm Smith how important it is for us to dignify a Niftar. They understood and acted accordingly. (See article HERE on YWN)
How is it, may I ask, that people who grew up in a different society, people who don’t really understand our unique and special religion, understand this concept, and some of us Rachmanim don’t? What are these officials supposed to think when reading the NY Post report? That Jews have a double standard? What explanation will the Askanim give those coroners to avert an autopsy when shown the Times Herald-Record article?
No, I am not blaming anyone here. I am not affiliated with either party, and I am not writing to defend or blame either side. I simply do not understand what they thought - if they thought. The Torah punished its most evil criminals with stoning, yet warned not to delay their burial. What crime did this meis commit other than being part of another faction? Why didn’t he deserve to get proper Kovod Ha’achron to his eternal rest just like all of us desire?
We should be ashamed of ourselves, how far we have gone, playing with Neshomos - with fire!
(NOTE: This editorial is in reference to a particular (split) Chassidus which delayed the Kevura of another Jew for an entire day, due to fighting amongst themselves. This incident was reported in the media; NY Post, Times Herald Record, MidHudsonNews and others.)
(Shulem Rosenbaum - YWN)
How dare YOU judge Klal Yisroel B'Klal UB'frat ?
It's quite obvious that you are not a lamdan, posek etc ? It's obvious that you are not a Baal Midos ? It's obvious that you have no inkling of what it means Ahavas Yisroel?
How dare you talk about Sinas Chinom ?
Where is the "Chinom" here? How do you dare go and take facts from a "Sinas Chinom" media ? How dare you comment when you don't know the true facts? How dare you babble like a buffoon and worse than the secular media ?
Why is it that anything that has to do with negative Chasidishe news you and the Yeshiva World are there to point it out, with the improper facts ?
When will the "Yeshiva World" you represent stop spewing Sinas Chinom?
If you don't represent the "Yeshiva World", how dare you call yourself The Yeshiva World and make this Chilel Hashem ?
When will people like yourself who dare to masquerade for the Yeshiva World stop ?
When will you stop perpetuating the existing Churban ?
I’m outraged, disappointed, ashamed , (Perhaps it’s a word that has yet to exist,) I’m simply pained of you and The Yeshiva World.

Communication about Jewish Gays and Lesbians ?
Jerusalem - Orthodox Rabbi Wants Charedi Attitude Towards Gays Changed
Is this a positive step in the "right" direction ?
I for sure hope that dialogue, communication and agreeing to disagree will continue.
Ditto for education, shidduchim and parenting issues.

What does the Almighty expect?!
The Shpoler Zaida once commented that this war would be much easier if the yetzer hora was in a book and the Torah was in our hearts. Since, however, the Torah is in a book, that sits on a shelf and the yetzer hora is in our hearts, what does the Almighty expect?! The Almighty promised the Jewish people, "I will fight your wars," even this war. The Almighty requests that we just make the initial effort.

Lou Pritchett is one of corporate America's true living legends- an acclaimed author, dynamic teacher and one of the world's highest rated speakers. Successful corporate executives everywhere recognize him as the foremost leader in change management. Lou changed the way America does business by creating an audacious concept that came to be known as "partnering." Pritchett rose from soap salesman to Vice-President, Sales and Customer Development for Procter and Gamble and over the course of 36 years, made corporate history.
AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have livedand unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not=2 0an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with20radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates inste ad of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves..
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbau ghs, Hannitys, O'Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.
Lou Pritchett TRUE - CHECK: http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/youscareme.asp
This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it.
Big surprise. Since it hit the internet, however, it has had over 500,000 hits.
Keep it goi ng. All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. It's happening right now.

Purge the 6% Ultra Orthodox Jews !!!!!!
The Long Shadow of Scandal
Now and Then
By Jonathan D. Sarna
and then, A comment on the article;
new englander
Wed. Aug 5, 2009When five ultra-orthodox Vienese rabbis attended and supported the Tehran Holocaust denial conference, they were excommunicated upon their return to Austria.
Unfortunately, there are growing numbers of Ultra Orthodox or those Jews parading as Orthodox Jews, who are doing the "perk walks" in front of TV cameras - as they are being marched to jail by Federal Marshalls - from N.Y. to N.J. to Iowa.
The Ultra Orthodox are only 6% of our community. The other 94%, should consider kicking them out for the sins and shame they have committed - and their failure to clean house, as was the case during Prohibition!
Israel has the same problem with the Haredi, many of whom ignored or defended the homophobic hate they preached before the murder of Gays in Tel Aviv, last week. Withn their stone throwing, outlaw settlements, abuse of children and women, among others, these crazies are becoming a Taliban-like Sect. Failure by our sane leaders, will simply force the continuation of secularization of Jewish young people. It is time for a Purge!
It is long past time to separate from these Sects, who are bringing us so much shame - and danger!
Finally, the truth of what 94% of the jews are thinking ?
